Baby Shower and 5 More to Go!

Yay! we are coming into the home stretch! 35 weeks right now and she is DROPPING lower. I am still worried she will come out with a penis. No seriously I am. All this pink and purple clothing and then BAM! a Penis in our face! Lena Fetus like to push her ass or knee or something up and down on my right side under my ribs which is not fun. Plus, I am at the point of ' nope mommy you are not going to sleep tonight as you need to be ready for my nightly wakings!'

This past Saturday we had my Baby Shower :0) Lots of fun! Two of my Leftover mommy friends came and it was a blast to see them again! Ryden and Bethany had ALOT of fun playing together while we all caught up and ate hehehe. Its so great to get together and hang out with friends and family especially when celebrating a new life :0)

34 Weeks...

Nothing new there. 34 weeks now. She is still beating me up in the ribs. Walking is becoming a pain in the ass. Ryden is always wanting me to pick him up and I can't.

But, my doctor appointment went well last week. Still measuring on track and weight gain is not huge. They did the fun Group B Strep swab...yuck.

Ryden is still refusing to poop on the potty. He holds it in until he is going down for his nap or bed when he has a pull up on. Then if not noticed soon enough, he removes said Pull Up and then well you can imagine.

My baby shower is this weekend yay! Defiantly need a good fun weekend party. Granted, a couple people who I really can not stand and do not like will be there, but I will make do! Still do not understand why my sister's ex mother in law wanted to come. My mom's reply? ' Well she is family!' NOT MY FAMILY! Just what I want, someone that told me how I always looked better pregnant than not at my shower. Yup, she is one of those type of people. Tries to politely insult you. So nice huh?

'Game Over...'

Yes. A line from a movie. But which one?

That would be a quote from the Saw Series. I personally LOVE this Series. It is a new twist on horror and more of a mind fuck than anything.

Tonight, I finally FINALLY got to see Saw VI. And the thoughts?

*drum roll please*

WAY WAY Better than IV and V! It made a hell of alot more sense, it moved along in a nice pace and things are FINALLY starting to come together from all the other movies. Things are being pieced together and making you go ' OH! Now I get it!'

I was worried that this one would be just as bad as the previous ones. IV and V were not that great and personally, I worried on what they were going to mess up next. But this one, the traps were better, the thought and reasoning where much more realized, and time was spent on each. The concept behind it was great as it took the choice of 'Live or Die' to a different level. It put the choice of life not in the victims hands but the game player. If you truely look at it, it makes your thoughts on insurance a bit more messed up! (Trying REALLY hard not to spoil it!!) You also realize...wow that is how they are thinking and allowing insurance to work most of the time sadly.

From what I found online, the VII and final installment begins filming on Monday. I am not sure how I feel on it though. Part of me thinks 'okay, finally it is time to end these. It has been fun the last 7 years but enough is enough'. But then another part of me is like ' Shit, how much more fucked up can this get? What else can these writers come up with that is new and has not be done before?'

Saw each Halloween is a God Send. No really it is. Think about all the movies that come out during the year before it. They are remakes, redos, horrible non-thought provoking movies. Hollywood has NO real/new ideas but come Halloween, I know I will get something to look forward to.

And yes....you find out what was in the box....

Project 365 Spotlight

I love blogs. LOVE to read and see what other people do in their lives and how they handle craziness.

So, this week's insert is going to be about a dear friend's blog. I think I am going to post once a week a blog spotlight.

Blog: Project 365

This blog is my friend Renee. She is a mom to an adorable 2 1/2 year old girl and is just awesome. We met like many of my followers through BabyCenter.com while pregnant with our July 2007 babies. Another site that is great to find some fun convos, friends, family and drama!

She recently got a nice fancy camera and is taking a different picture each day. Hence the name of the blog. She uses such different items to focus on along w/ explaining the importance of the item and picture. I think it is great to take a moment and spot the simple things in life that can change a moment in time.

Now, go check her blog and pictures out!!

Dropping Down...Counting Down...Failing...

Yes, she is dropping. She is finding her way down into my hips. But do not be fooled. She still likes to kick the crap out of my ribs when I am sitting down trying to be on my computer.

She and I also failed our 1 hour gluscose test. Now, I must do the evil 3 hour one. Please pray the hospital I have to goto has WiFi! I may go insane just sitting there waiting and getting blood stolen each hour.

Ryden has been having some rough nights. Not sleeping well, being up for hours and hours on end. It has not been fun for mommy. The other night he woke up at midnight and by 630am, i have given up trying to get him back down. It really sucked and I was such a zombie yesterday. And he didn't nap all day!! Last night though, it caught up to him and he slept all night.

Jameson has been BabyCenter Malware Fighter recently. I am thankful for that! He fixed my computer along w/ a couple friends from across the country. Sadly, one of them he can not fix but I am glad he has offered to help when he can! What is the BabyCenter Malware? Oh well apparently, you can get a nasty Malware from the boards time to time. It hit hard and fast like the plague and MANY moms got hit including me. It sucks and glad to have a computer nerd for a husband!

Nesting and Planning...

I did not have this while pregnant w/ Ryden. I was too busy hoping my labor would not kick in during class or a final. I was busy keeping my grades in order, putting together how we are going to make it w/ a baby along w/ me in school, getting my Leave of Absence in order, etc. Not once did I get the crazy 'nesting' urge.

This time? Nope, it has kicked in and yet, I have no true energy to do it. I have been meaning to scrub my kitchen since Sunday. I really do plan to attack tomorrow. Maybe Ryden will let me tomorrow while he plays in his room... and maybe I will get a magic million dollar check in the mail.

I have however, washed, dried, sorted and put away all the baby clothes that have come my way from friends, family and what I purchased. So things are starting to get in order. I need to locate my Boppy Pillow upstairs. The bassinet is in our room also all ready for Lena Fetus except need to change the batteries in the mobile.

Ryden's Potty Training is going pretty well I think. He is in underwear all day except nap/bedtime. I bought him a stool for the bathroom so he can get on and off the toilet. He enjoys having his big boy moments getting on and off the potty. I think it is helping him work more towards being trained. Now, if only he would stop holding his poop for nap/bedtime and ACTUALLY poop more than just a spit in the toilet. He does however know that he shouldn't pee in his undies. When he does rarely, he comes to find me and we clean him up. He doesn't pee a lot but enough to wet himself and stop peeing. Then we go on over to the potty so he can finish going while I get new ones. A good sign?

Single Number Weeks Coming...

Could it be? Already at 30 weeks? How did time move this fast?

Lena Fetus is up in my ribs, moving them around like crazy. It is not fun and I do not remember this with Ryden and it stinks. But then again, I was surrounded by college classes and all that fun worry. First time mom worries, getting the nursery set up, wondering if things will go smoothly, was I really ready to me a mom?

The nesting bug is kicking in. This past weekend, I brought the bassinet and infant carrier carseat down to be washed. Ryden had fun putting his baby in and out of it and giving him a ride around the apt in the carrier. Jameson thinks we should be doing it in secret when Ry is not around but no. He needs to learn about baby and being gentle and nice.

Am I insane? Can I REALLY do this w/ two kids? How on earth am I going to be able to give Ryden my full attention when Lena Fetus will need it a lot? How on earth will I go just run to the store if I need something and get through the store? Why on earth am I doing this again?

Christmas and baby....

29 weeks now! Look at that belly grow huh? Scary thought that it only 10 weeks away. I have a OB Appt tomorrow actually and my little sister is coming along to help w/ Ryden staying out of drawers and doors.

Christmas has come and gone. Ryden LOVES his train table! It was the last thing we showed him. I stacked all his presents on top of it then Jameson took the lid off and the look of shock was great! He would not stop playing with it. Even stood their watching the train go around while holding a piece of bacon in one hand.

We did our running around to my family and Jameson's family that day and got home pretty late. Then back up Saturday so Jameson could help my dad only to turn around and go back up Sunday to help more. Have I mention that it is a hour drive one way for us to go up there? Was not something we wanted to do all weekend. This Saturday Jameson is working w/ his dad also so back up we go! I plan to go nowhere Friday and Sunday this weekend!

Jameson was VERY excited about his PlayStation 3 he got from me. Set it up Christmas Eve so that Ry was not under foot. He also was glad that Ryden got him a game he wanted along w/ his stepmother. Along w/ a giftcard for a game store and he was set. Me? What did I get? A cute little shop vac for my car! Yes it was something I asked for! I wanted a vacuum for the car so it is easier to clean up after Ryden and Jameson found a cute wet/dry vac haha. A couple season of Gilmore Girls, new robe, Gift Card for Olive Garden and I am good now!

As soon as I get time, I will upload the few pictures from Christmas. We forgot the camera at the house when we headed to family... oops!

Third Trimester!

Can you believe it already? 12 more weeks and my little girl will be here? As you can see above, Ryden wanted in on the picture this morning!

Lena Fetus has been moving around like crazy recently. Especially after yesterday when her brother kept jumping on her. So that had me on the couch all evening just to be on the safe side. But she is bouncing away and up in my ribs all day long. So either she is super long or just that high up in my belly. Either way, it is REALLY annoying while I try to sit.

Where did the year go? When did the year pass us by? I remember getting up and finding out about her and now I am closer and closer to her being here! Christmas seemed like a distant though and now look... its Friday!

Ryden is currently walking around banging a laundry basket in the living room. Why? no idea but it is keeping him out of trouble for now so its nice. He has been a terror lately but hopefully it will start to die down. I am hoping it is more from the change in the family coming soon than just being a terror but no one can really tell for sure.
